Imeroprubart
An investigational treatment for Myasthenia Gravis.
Drug facts
The same compound appears under different names depending on the context. Here is how to identify Imeroprubart wherever you encounter it, plus the key facts at a glance.
- Generic name
- Imeroprubart
- Development code
- IMVT-1402
- Drug class
- FcRn blocker (investigational)
- Manufacturer
- Immunovant (majority owned by Roivant)
- How it's taken
- Injection under the skin once a week (in trials)
An investigational antibody injected under the skin once a week in trials. It blocks FcRn so the body clears IgG antibodies, including the autoantibodies behind generalized myasthenia gravis, faster. Immunovant expects topline data from its Phase 3 myasthenia gravis trial in 2027.

How Imeroprubart works
FcRn is a receptor that recycles IgG antibodies so they stay in the blood longer. IMVT-1402 is a fully human monoclonal antibody that blocks FcRn, so IgG antibodies, including the autoantibodies that drive myasthenia gravis, are cleared faster[1]. The approved myasthenia gravis medicines Vyvgart (efgartigimod), Rystiggo (rozanolixizumab) and Imaavy (nipocalimab) also block FcRn. No trial has compared IMVT-1402 with any of them.
Clinical trial results
The Phase 3 myasthenia gravis trial (NCT07039916) plans to enroll 231 adults with mild to severe generalized myasthenia gravis and compares 2 weekly doses with placebo. Its main measure is the change in the MG-ADL daily-living score at week 12 in antibody-positive patients, and its primary completion date is listed as December 2027[5].
Graves' disease trials NCT06727604 (240 adults) and NCT07018323 (210 adults) measure how many people have normal thyroid levels without antithyroid drugs at week 26[6][7]. A CIDP trial (NCT07032662, 162 adults) measures how many stay relapse-free at week 24[8], and a Sjögren's disease trial (NCT06979531, 180 adults) has finished enrolling. Immunovant expects topline myasthenia gravis and Graves' data in 2027 and CIDP and Sjögren's data in 2028[3].
Side effects and safety
No side effect results for IMVT-1402 from its myasthenia gravis, Graves' disease or CIDP trials had been published as of November 2026; Immunovant expects topline data from them in 2027 and 2028[3].

Taking Imeroprubart
In trials, IMVT-1402 is given as an injection under the skin once a week. The myasthenia gravis trial tests 2 doses against placebo for 12 weeks, followed by longer treatment with IMVT-1402 for every group[5].
Development history
IMVT-1402 is Immunovant's second FcRn antibody. Its first, batoclimab, missed its main goal in 2 Phase 3 thyroid eye disease trials reported on April 2, 2026, and Immunovant is winding down the batoclimab trials while it focuses on IMVT-1402[4][3]. Immunovant now also uses the official name imeroprubart[2].
