How you take it: Given in cycles: one dose a week for 4 weeks, then a break. Your neurologist decides when the next cycle starts.
Before your first dose
- Decide with your neurologist where you get each dose: an infusion center, the office, at home with a nurse, or a shot you give yourself after training.
- If you will give yourself the shot, a pharmacy nurse trains you twice first.
- Your vaccines are checked. Live vaccines are not recommended while you are on Vyvgart.
- Tell the office about any fever, cough or burning when you pee before a dose. A dose waits until an infection clears.
- Your insurance approves the medicine. My VYVGART Path, the drugmaker's support program, calls you and helps with costs.

Get emergency help or tell your care team right away about
Rash or hives; swelling of the face, lips, throat or tongue; shortness of breath or trouble breathing; fainting, during a dose or in the weeks after.
Also tell your care team about
- Fever, chills, cough, sore throat, or painful or frequent urination, right away and before your next dose
- High blood pressure, chills, shivering, or chest, stomach or back pain during or soon after a dose
- Myasthenia symptoms coming back during the break between cycles
- Any vaccine you had or have planned, before each new cycle
