How you take it: One tablet once a day. Your heart doctor raises or lowers the dose based on heart ultrasounds.
Before your first dose
- A heart ultrasound (echocardiogram) that shows your heart is pumping well enough to start.
- You and your heart doctor go over a safety guide about heart failure warning signs and sign a form for the safety program. You need to start within 3 months of signing.
- A full medicine check. One antibiotic, rifampin, cannot be taken with Myqorzo, and a few antifungal and other medicines change the dose.
- Tell your heart doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding.
- Your insurance approves the medicine. MYQORZO & You helps with coverage and costs, and a specialty pharmacy calls to set up delivery.

Tell your care team or get medical help right away for
New or worse shortness of breath, swelling in the legs, a racing heart, unusual tiredness, chest pain, or rapid weight gain.
Also tell your care team about
- A severe infection such as COVID-19, or a new or worse irregular heartbeat, right away
- Any new medicine, or stopping one, before you do it, especially fluconazole, voriconazole, fluvoxamine or rifampin
- A possible pregnancy, during treatment or within 3 weeks after the last dose
